MCG opens city’s first steel utensil bank to eliminate plastics

the need for single-use plastics, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) has opened the city’s first steel utensil bank in Sector 10, said officials on Monday. Residents who want to do away with the use of single-use plastics can avail steel utensils free of cost at the bank.MCG officials said that the bank will help do away with disposable and single-use plas tic utensils, which are used in local community gatherings and weddings.
