The District Legal Services Authority organized a Mega Legal Empowerment Camp

Chaiibasa EW News: At the district headquarters Chaiibasa, the District Legal Services Authority organized a Mega Legal Empowerment Camp at Pillai Hall. Present at the event were the Principal District Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Mr. Vishwanath Shukla, Deputy Commissioner of West Singhbhum and Vice Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Mr. Kuldeep Chaudhary, Chief Justice of the Family Court Chaiibasa, Mr. Yogeshwar Meena, District and Additional Sessions Judge Pratham Mr. Omprakash, District and Additional Sessions Judge Dvitiya Mr. Surya Bhushan Ojha, Deputy Development Commissioner Mr. Sandeep Kumar Meena, Sub-divisional Police Officer Mr. Rahul Dev Badaike, along with other district-level officials were present.

PDJ and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Mr. Vishwanath Shukla, while addressing the program, said that if the common people have any problem related to any department, they can contact the District Legal Services Authority for its solution. Even financially weak individuals can contact the authority to file a case against anyone in any problem. For any kind of problem, common people can come to the office of the District Legal Services Authority and submit a written application, upon which a review meeting is also held every month regarding the registered complaints. Proper lawyers are also provided by the District Legal Services Authority for fighting cases for their rights. He said that for any problem, one should not get involved in any middlemen, instead, they should contact the District Legal Services Authority directly. He also provided detailed information about the Motor Vehicle Act.

Addressing the program, Deputy Commissioner of West Singhbhum and Vice Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Mr. Kuldeep Chaudhary, said that today’s entire program is being conducted under the chairmanship of Chief District Judge and Vice Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Mr. Vishwanath Shukla, with the main objective of continuous operation of legal empowerment and awareness in various forms throughout the entire district. The most important work in this direction is the continuous disposal of cases through Lok Adalats. In which the case is settled in a short time in the presence of the Chairman and the relevant officer with both parties face to face.

The Deputy Commissioner explained that Para Legal Volunteers go to the field and work on legal awareness. They make people aware about the country’s constitution. Along with this, people are also made aware of how to get information about government welfare schemes. The work of which is monitored by the District Legal Services. The Deputy Commissioner appealed to all the present common people to also make people aware of the District Legal Services Authority at their level so that the common people can benefit from the related facilities.
