Dhanbad. Today is 23rd September. Former MP and Jharkhand agitator Binod Bihari Mahto was born on this day. Today is also the birth anniversary of his son and MP and MLA Rajkishore Mahato. Father-son birth anniversary is being celebrated across Jharkhand today. Especially, hundreds of programs are going to be organized for Binod Bihari Mahto. But, unfortunately, the lamp of the fourth generation of this family got extinguished on this day itself.
According to the information received, Harsh, the great-grandson of Binod Bihari Mahto and grandson of Rajkishore Mahto, breathed his last this morning at Asian Jalan Superspeciality Hospital in Bartand, Dhanbad. Harsh was the eldest child, and a 12th (commerce) student at DAV Public School, Koylanagar. Last, on 10th September, Harsh was going to Maithon to celebrate the birthday of a friend. In this sequence, he became a victim of a road accident near Tetulia. Harsh suffered a serious head injury in it. Since then he was undergoing treatment at Asian Jalan Superspeciality Hospital. On Thursday morning at around 7.30 am, he lost his breath and fell asleep. Harsh was the eldest of the two sons of his parents. The news of his death came as a shock to the family members and well-wishers of Binod Bihari Mahto and Rajkishore Mahato. After getting the information, a crowd of people gathered in the hospital premises.
In the Mahto family, in just 10 months, four people have died in the family. Rajkishore Mahato passed away on December 2, 2020. Two months after his death, his sister and daughter of Binod Bihari Mahto died in Ranchi. Rajneesh Mahato alias Bablu, the eldest son of Rajkishore Mahato, died suddenly on April 21, 2021. Rajkishore Babu’s grandson died today on 23rd September. Four deaths from the same family, that too in a span of only 10 months is like an inexplicable puzzle.
