Ayodhya, EW News: The Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, along with his cabinet members, MLAs, and officials, expressed profound emotions after witnessing the divine presence of Ram Lalla at his majestic temple in Ayodhya on Tuesday. This visit marks the first political delegation from a state to Ayodhya following the consecration ceremony.
Upon their arrival at Maharshi Valmiki Airport, the dignitaries were warmly welcomed with a Guard of Honor, reflecting the ethos of “Atithi Devo Bhava” (Guest is equivalent to God). Subsequently, they paid homage at the Ram Temple, offering their prayers and reverence.
Leading the welcoming committee, Agriculture and Ayodhya In-charge Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, alongside local representatives, extended heartfelt greetings to Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his entourage. Floral bouquets and Angvastras were presented as symbols of hospitality, showcasing the warmth of Uttar Pradesh’s hospitality.
The cultural extravaganza witnessed traditional folk dances performed by local artists, adding to the festive atmosphere. Under the vigilant supervision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stringent security measures were implemented to ensure the safety and comfort of the esteemed guests from Arunachal Pradesh.
Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed his joy after the historic Ram temple, reminiscing about his previous visit during the construction phase. He revealed plans for establishing Arunachal Bhawan in Ayodhya, highlighting the temple’s completion after centuries as a significant milestone for the nation. “We have written to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath regarding the construction of Arunachal Bhawan in Ayodhya,” he affirmed, envisioning this initiative as a catalyst for India’s development and prosperity.
