Lucknow/Prayagraj, EW News: Samadhan Portal, introduced by the Yogi government just a month ago, has swiftly become a beacon of hope for students encountering challenges in Uttar Pradesh. A remarkable 1,694 out of 1,847 cases uploaded on the portal have been efficiently resolved, marking a significant leap in student welfare.
Launched by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School & Intermediate Education) on January 6, 2024, the Samadhan Portal was designed to provide a plethora of services catering to the needs of exam participants. From rectifying errors in certificates to expediting complaints resolution, the portal offers 13 essential facilities aimed at streamlining student-related processes.
According to Dibyakant Shukla, the Secretary of the Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, a stringent review mechanism is in place to ensure the timely resolution of student grievances. Daily assessments and clear directives to regional offices have fostered an environment of urgency, resulting in the swift resolution of a vast majority of cases.
Among the 13 services offered, all but four boast a resolution timeline of 15 days, while the remaining services are guaranteed to be addressed within 30 days. This commitment to efficiency underscores the government’s dedication to student welfare.
Varanasi leads the charge in resolving student issues, with 691 out of 750 cases addressed within its jurisdiction. Other districts like Meerut, Bareilly, Prayagraj, and Gorakhpur have also demonstrated commendable progress in swiftly resolving cases, reaffirming the efficacy of the Samadhan Portal.
In a recent development, the appointment of Static Magistrates across all districts within two days has been emphasized. This initiative, part of a broader effort to ensure seamless examination preparations, underscores the government’s commitment to upholding the integrity of the education system.
With the Samadhan Portal paving the way for expedited grievance redressal, Uttar Pradesh’s student community can look forward to a brighter, more efficient future in academic pursuits.
