Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal Extend a Welcome to Guru Nanak Jayanti Procession in Palamu

Palamu, EW News: The Guru Nanak Jayanti celebration saw a splendid procession organized by the Sikh community, warmly welcomed by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal near Lal Kotha. Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism and the first Guru of the Sikhs, is honored on his birth anniversary, known as Prakash Parv or Guru Parv.

Guru Nanak Ji was born on Kartik Purnima in 1469 in the village of Talwandi, situated on the banks of the Ravi River in present-day Pakistan. This day is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Sikh community, and the festivities extend to various parts of the world.

In Palamu, a vibrant procession was organized by the Sikh community, and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal extended a warm welcome near Lal Kotha. The procession, attended by enthusiastic participants, was accompanied by arrangements for refreshments and hydration provided by the council.

Umesh Agrawal, the district president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, led the welcome for today’s procession. The event was graced by the presence of Damodar Mishra, the district minister, Amit Tiwari, the deputy district minister, Ajit Pathak, the district vice president, Rajiv Goyal, the district treasurer; Vikas Kumar Kashyap, the district Balopasana chief, and Dilip Giri, the co-coordinator of Bajrang Dal Nagar, along with Rama Shankar Prasad, Himanshu Pandey, Prabhat Pandey, Vinay Tiwari, Sheetal Prakash Tiwari, Saurabh Pandey, Prakash Vishwakarma, Suresh Varma, Pappu Lath, and others.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad of Palamu congratulates the Sikh community on the successful and captivating procession, extending heartfelt wishes for the occasion.
