Vehicles of pilgrims of Jharkhand returning after worshiping from Tarapith became uncontrolled, two killed, five injured

Bokaro: While returning home after worshiping from Tarapith, two four wheelers on the way uncontrollably collided with a tree. Two people have died and has been identified as Akhil Singh and Vikas Gupta. Five passengers in the vehicle were injured in the incident in which driver Birbal Sonar is seriously injured and injured are being treated. All of them belong to Bokaro thermal police station area Jarangdih in Bokaro district.

The road accident took place this morning near Surichua village on the Rampurhat-Dumka road on the Birbhum-Jharkhand border. Pilgrims were returning to Jalangi in Jharkhand’s Bokaro district after worshiping Mother Tara in a four-wheeled vehicle from Tarapith in Birbhum district of West Bengal this morning. The driver lost control near Sunichua village and collided with a tree on the side of the road.

In this accident, a passenger named Akhil Singh died on the spot, while the other six passengers were seriously injured. Rampurhat Police and Rampurhat Fire Brigade reached the spot as soon as the news of the accident was received. Firefighters rescued the injured from vehicles and took them to Rampurhat Medical College Hospital. During this, another passenger Vikas Gupta also died. In this incident, two of the seven passengers died and five were injured and one is in good condition.
