The workers who were on strike did stone pelting, three laborers injured in lathi charge

Hazaribagh; There was a ruckus when the police tried to remove the workers of Triveni Sainik Private Limited, who were staging a sit-in for their three-point demand. Citing the Corona guidelines, the police asked the workers to leave the protest site. Angry people started pelting stones.

After this the police had to lathi-charge. Police have detained 19 people. The workers of Triveni Sainik Private Limited, working under NTPC, sat on a dharna near Voom Barrier at Urub at 6 in the morning demanding bonus hike, reinstatement of fired workers etc.

In the meantime, an attempt was made to resolve the matter by meeting twice between the company’s officers and the workers, but the workers were agitated by the fact that the bonus was not given. On the other hand, SDPO Mohammad Nehaluddin, BDO Pravesh Kumar Sahu, CO Vaibhav Kumar Singh, Dadi Kalan police station in-charge arrived with the armed police force after receiving information about the strike.

He asked the workers to end the strike citing Kovid-19. He suggested the workers to hold talks after the epidemic is over. However, the workers remained firm on their demands. He sought written assurance of giving bonus. On this, it was said by the police administration that the laborers were caught in the vehicle for violating the guidelines of Kovid-19.

While talks were going on from both the sides, some people started pelting stones. On this, the police personnel lathi-charged them and chased them away. The police was preparing to register a case against the 19 detained people. On the other hand, Umesh Sao, who is leading the workers, said that during the talks, the workers were lathi-charged by the police. Three people have been injured in this. At the same time, the Triveni Sainik Company has been completely closed, due to which the company has suffered a loss of crores.
