Social Welfare Minister and Seemapuri MLA Shri Rajendra Pal Gautam took stock of all the projects and developmental work in the Seemapuri Assembly Constituency. He said that 3 new sites identified for the construction of Mohalla Clinics; 1767 CCTVs have been installed. Pending CCTVs will be installed in the next one month. He said that the problem of Illegal encroachment should be resolved at the earliest by DDA and all pending projects should be completed in the next 2 -3 months.

The Minister chaired a meeting with the officials of DDA, PWD, CDMO Shahdara, DHS where he raised the long-pending issue of encroachment of DDA land for illegal occupation. 

* CCTV installation to be completed within 1 month

Shri Rajendra Pal Gautam asked the officials of the PWD to complete the process of installation of CCTVs. Till now a total of 1,767 CCTVs have been installed in Seemapuri Assembly Constituency. Officials of the PWD assured the Minister that within 1 month PWD will complete the installation of all the pending cameras of the first phase. 740 OD boxes have been installed out of which 715 have started availing subsidy as well. The remaining are pending as residences are under construction. 

* 3 sites identified for establishing new Mohalla Clinics

3 new sites have been identified for the construction of Mohalla Clinics in the Seemapuri Assembly Constituency. Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam has asked the PWD officials to set a tentative deadline for the construction of the Mohalla Clinics in the identified sites. “The construction process should be completed in the next 2 months without any delay. To save time we should also explore the possibility of implementing the new design of the Mohalla Clinic like the shipping container model as it is more cost-effective and time-saving,” he said.
