Religious places, schools and colleges will open in Jharkhand, some conditions will have to be followed

All religious places including Baba Baidyanath Temple and Rajrappa Temple will open in Jharkhand. The State Disaster Management Authority has taken a decision in this regard. On Tuesday, a meeting of the State Disaster Management Authority was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. In this meeting, along with the opening of religious places, it has also been approved to open schools and colleges. Along with this, permission has also been given to build pandals and install idols for Durga Puja in the state. However, in view of the outbreak of Corona, some conditions have also been imposed regarding the opening of religious places and organizing Durga Puja.

Giving information about the meeting of the Disaster Management Authority, Health Minister Banna Gupta said that permission has been given to open all the religious places of the state. The entry of a maximum of hundred people in an hour has been allowed in big religious places. But at the same time, the entry of more than 50 people at a time in these religious places has been banned. Apart from this, other religious places will be opened with 50 percent capacity. It will be mandatory to take at least one vaccine from all the concerned persons like priest, panda, imam, pastor etc.

Taking another big decision, the Disaster Management Authority has given permission to organize Durga Puja in the pandals. But along with the condition has been kept that the idol of Durga in these pandals should not be more than five feet high. The use of loudspeakers is prohibited except at the time of worship. The entry of common people into the pandal has also been restricted. Children below 18 years of age will also be prohibited from entering the temple or pandal. Along with this, the ban on organizing bhog and distribution of prasad in these pandals will continue. Fair organizing will be prohibited on the occasion of Durga Puja.

The Disaster Management Authority has given permission to start teaching in all classes above class 6 in schools. Currently these classes will run from 8 am to 12 noon. Along with this, permission has been given to open all the colleges as before and start teaching. Apart from this, the state government has also given permission to keep bars and restaurants open till 11 pm. Health cum Disaster Management Minister Banna Gupta, Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Additional Health Secretary Arun Kumar Singh, Disaster Management Secretary Amitabh Kaushal and other officials were present in the meeting of the authority.

Keeping in view the Kovid guidelines, orders have been given to open all the temples of the state. 50 percent of the people will be able to enter the religious places. Prasad distribution will not be organized in Durga Puja. The ban on fairs will also continue during Durga Puja. Shops and bars will remain open on Sundays as well. Bars and restaurants will remain open till 11 pm.
