EW Correspondent Bhopal: In a commendable initiative aimed at empowering youth, MLA from Udaipura Constituency and Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education, Narendra Shivaji Patel, launched the second batch of the Internship with Narendra Shivaji Patel program on Wednesday. A one-day workshop was held in Bhopal for 28 selected youths, where the minister personally encouraged and guided the participants. The workshop featured seven sessions focused on training the interns in tasks associated with the program. The internship is designed to equip young participants with skills in social, political, and behavioral leadership, providing them with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

The internship spans three months, with the first batch starting on September 25, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, and concluding on December 25, the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. During the internship, participants work as NSP Ambassadors in their respective gram panchayats, addressing local issues, coordinating with government agencies, and promoting the strengths of their regions on social media. While addressing the participants, Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel, emphasized the uniqueness of this initiative in Udaipura, stating, This is the first program of its kind to provide leadership opportunities to the youth of our constituency. As a college student, I often wished for such an opportunity to gain insights into political and social activities. Now, as a public representative, I have introduced this program to fulfill that vision for the youth of Udaipura. Minister Narendra Shivaji Patel, highlighted the inspiration drawn from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech, where he spoke about providing leadership opportunities to one lakh non-political youths. This program aligns with that vision and aims to nurture young leaders who can shape the future of Udaipura constituency, he added. Through this initiative, the selected youths will gain practical exposure to leadership roles, assist in creating development blueprints at the panchayat level, and resolve local issues while promoting their area’s unique features. Minister Patel expressed confidence that these young leaders would play a pivotal role in shaping the vision for Udaipura’s development
