Under this system, all the departments of RIMS will have computers. They will be interconnected with the help of software. Patients will be given a registration number. All his information will be entered in the system along with the number. From the registration number of the patient, the doctor will be able to know everything about him. Due to the system, the family members will be able to easily trace the patient’s registration number.
Presently the tender process has been started. In this, the purchase of IT related computers and other materials will be done. No clear information is being given about how long it will take to complete this work. But the management has expressed hope that this entire work will be completed in this year.
Dr. Kameshwar Prasad, Director, RIMS said that the plan was going on for many years to implement the e-system. But it got delayed due to Kovid. Now under this new system, work has been started in the direction of connecting all the departments of the hospital with the hospital management system. Soon this new system will start. After this, the patients admitted in the departments will be able to get every facility immediately if needed. It is known that preparations for this arrangement were being made for a long time.
