Supreme Court advocate and National President of the Bhrashtachar Virodhi Morcha Chandrakant Tyagi, asserts the importance of preserving journalistic freedom in a democracy, emphasizing that attempts to suppress their voices are unacceptable.
In light of escalating threats, including death threats and mental harassment directed at journalists, the Bhrashtachar Virodhi Morcha legal team is set to initiate prompt legal action. A specialized investigation team has been formed to delve into these cases. Supreme Court advocate and National Secretary of the Front, Nikhil Tyagi, urges journalists to continue their fearless reporting, assuring that those inflicting mental distress will be held accountable.
The Bhrashtachar Virodhi Morcha , known for its “Issues are Yours, Solutions are Ours” campaign, encourages individuals facing challenges to submit written complaints. A dedicated team will work towards finding resolutions. Nikhil Tyagi announces a nationwide tour as part of the campaign, beginning with Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra in January. The Front’s special team includes eminent legal professionals and journalists committed to upholding press freedom and combating corruption.
