Karnataka govt to prioritize college students, faculty, other staff for vaccination

Bengaluru, Karnataka Health and Medical education minister Dr K Sudhkar on Thursday that considering the future of our students government has decided to accord priority for vaccination of students, faculty and non-teaching staff in UG, Diploma and ITI colleges.

In a tweet he said the data of eligible beneficiaries will be collected and vaccination camps be conducted at college premises.
On the 3rd wave, said the 2nd wave affected the youth. But that doesn’t mean the 3rd wave is affecting children. He warned that children need to be taken care of.

The technical committee already submitted a report to the government suggested and recommended to take precautionary measures well in advance, he added.
