Jharkhand High Court transferred the matter related to fees in private schools to the Bench

The court of Justice Rajesh Shankar of Jharkhand High Court heard the petition filed in the fee matter of private schools through video conferencing. After hearing the side of the state government, the court directed to transfer the matter to the division bench for hearing. The matter will be heard in the division bench along with the PIL filed by Jyoti Sharma. The hearing of the case is scheduled for September 16.

Earlier, on behalf of the applicant, senior advocate Ajit Kumar presented his side in the court through video conferencing. He told the court that since the Supreme Court has passed an order in a similar case, there is no merit in this petition for further hearing. He urged for execution of the case.

At the same time, it was told by the state government that a public interest litigation is pending in the division bench regarding the fees of private schools. Requested to tag the matter with the same. It is noteworthy that the petition has been filed by President Abhay Kumar Mishra on behalf of the Jharkhand Unaided Private School Association.
