Ranchi EW News: Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha conducted an inspection of various ongoing and proposed road projects in Ranchi. The details are as follows:
Lem-Badgaon-Bodeya Road (M.D.R-004): The 3.750 km long road’s widening, strengthening, and reconstruction work is underway.
Nevari Vikas Vidyalaya (Ranchi Ring Road): The 15.214 km long road from Booti Mor to Kantatoli Chowk-Kantatoli R.O.B is being developed into a four-lane road.
Pandara-Kanke Road (N.H-75 to Holiday Home S.H-02): The 5.545 km long road’s four-lane reconstruction work, including bridge construction, for the year 2023-24 was inspected jointly by the Deputy Commissioner, the concerned engineers of the Road Construction Department, and other officials. The land acquisition for Lem Badgaon road has been completed, and the required funds have been allocated. The Deputy Commissioner directed the District Land Acquisition Officer to transfer the land to the Road Construction Department.
Furthermore, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha directed officials to expedite the pending water supply pipeline shifting and electrical utility shifting. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need to commence the work at the earliest.
Regarding the Pandara-Kanke road construction on N.H-75, the proposed site inspection revealed that the land acquisition process is pending due to delays in the tendering process at the departmental level. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the Road Construction Department to expedite the allocation of funds for land acquisition and requested senior department officials to expedite the tendering process.
Lastly, during his inspection of the Hehal Road widening project, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha observed the challenges faced in the ongoing work near Bagicha Toll on Hehal Road and Naya Dipatoli. He directed the concerned officials to ensure the timely completion of the widening work.
