Palamu | The contribution of two great personalities of Palamu in the Indian Constitution has been incomparable. Yaduvansh Sahai alias Yadu Babu and Amiya Kumar Ghosh alias Gopa Babu have played an important role in the formation of the Constitution of India as members of the Constitution Committee. It is a matter of pride for the people of Palamu. It gives great pleasure to remember these great personalities on the occasion of Constitution Day. These things were said by the Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan. He was addressing a seminar organized by the District Public Relations Office in Palamu at Soochna Bhawan on the occasion of Constitution Day. On National Press Day, the invited speakers gave their views on the theme “Who is afraid of the media?” and “Palamu’s contribution in the making of the Constitution of India” set by the Press Council of India for the year 2021.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the district administration is feeling proud by honoring the descendants of these great personalities on Constitution Day today. He said that today we are reciting the Preamble on the occasion of Constitution Day. Preamble is the basic soul of the constitution.
Deputy Development Commissioner Medya Bharadwaj said that we should not only imbibe fundamental rights, but also the fundamental duties of the citizen mentioned in Article 51A of Part 4A of the Constitution of India.
Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha said two scholars from Palamu were members of the Constituent Assembly. His role in the making of the constitution is a matter of pride and privilege for Palamu. The Superintendent of Police said that there is no need to be afraid of anyone working within the ambit of the law. Journalist Prabhat Mishra Suman, senior journalists Ravindra Tripathi, Gokul Basant and Deobrata also addressed the occasion. The program was conducted by Anand, Deputy Director, Information and Public Relations Department.
