Deception only for farmers: Babulal Marandi
Ranchi EW News: BJP state president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi described the budget presented by the state’s finance minister Rameshwar Oraon in the Assembly as shortsighted and anti-development. Mr. Marandi said that this budget is only for looting the state treasury. He said that there is no inclusion of far-sighted, people-centric welfare schemes in it. He said that by only copying and pasting looting schemes, the path of loot has been kept open for officers. He said that the government had announced loan waivers of up to 2 lakhs for farmers four years ago, but everything turned out to be empty. The promise of unemployment allowance for youth has also been completely unsuccessful. Instead, this government shut down BJP government schemes and acted unjustly with farmers. He said that farmers are struggling even to sell their paddy. They are forced to sell at throwaway prices.
In this budget, there is no plan for the development of villages: Sudesh Mahato
Central President of the AJSU party, Sudesh Kumar Mahato, reacted to the budget presented by the government in the state assembly, saying that reducing the budget of the education department is disappointing. Additionally, there is a lack of enthusiasm in the budget for improving healthcare facilities. In states like Jharkhand, there is a need for significant changes in the fields of education and healthcare. Any progressive state prioritizes education and health. There is no place to instill hope regarding employment.
