In the government schools of Jharkhand, in the academic session 2020-21, there will be two term examinations from class IX to XII. The first term (half-year) examination will be held in the month of November-December, while the second in March-April. Both the exams will be conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council. Director of Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training Kiran Kumar Pasi issued detailed guidelines regarding both the examinations on Monday. Under this, questions will be asked from half of the revised syllabus in the first term exam.
Questions from the remaining half of the syllabus will be asked in the second term exam. The weightage of first term examination will be 40 marks and internal assessment will be of 10 marks. Similarly, the weightage of the first term examination will also be 40 marks and the weightage of internal assessment will be 10 marks. Both the exams will be conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council under the supervision of external central superintendents. The question papers will be sent to the schools by the council along with the marking scheme.
