Aurangabad, The Marathwada region of Maharashtra comprising of 8 districts recorded 337 new cases of COVID-19 and 10 fatalities during the past 24 hours, officials said.
Aurangabad topped the list with 28 new cases and 5 deaths, followed by Beed 180 cases and 4 deaths, Parbhani one case and single death, Osmanabad 72 cases, Latur 41 cases, Jalna nine cases, Hingoli 3 cases and Nanded 2 cases.
Meanwhile, during the past 24 hours, 6,600 fresh cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the state, taking the cumulative tally of infections to 62,96,756. In the same period, 231 related deaths were also registered.
