Ranchi: This year on November 15, the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda will be celebrated as “Tribal Pride Day”. This day is a very unique attempt to remember the tribal heroes and their contribution. Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda said that the proposal of the ministry was passed in the cabinet meeting held today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the tribal community has made a remarkable contribution in the freedom struggle of India. Tribal Festival will be celebrated across the country from 15th to 22nd November under “Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav”. Under this, a program will be organized on the work of freedom fighters of the tribal community, their art and culture. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the program organized on “Tribal Pride Day” in Bhopal on November 15.
Arjun Munda said that the country is currently celebrating 75 years of independence and this decision is a matter of pride for the tribal community as well. On behalf of the entire tribal community, we express our gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for the decision to celebrate 15 November as Tribal Pride Day.
