A prisoner died in Bhagalpur

Bhagalpur, A prisoner Omprakash Verma (55), convict in a murder case and
lodged at Bhagalpur central jail died during treatment today.
According to police the prisoner was suddenly taken ill on Friday and was admitted at
the hospital. After his condition deteriorated further he was shifted to Jawaharlal Nehru
Medical College Hospital in Bhagalpur on Saturday where he succumbed during treatment.
The deceased was inhabitant of Morcha village under Chowk police station area of Patna district and was shifted to Bhagalpur Central Jail in the year 1998 in connection with a cognizable crime.
