Nurses create uproar in capital

Ranchi, The healthcare workers appointed in RIMS through outsourcing have sat 
on an agitation at the Morhabadi grounds after they were stopped by the police from reaching to the Chief Minister’s residence.
The agitating nurses said in the peak of Coronavirus crisis they were hired on work and later they have been removed but that too without paying the wages and they were going to meet the Chief Minister and inform him regarding their issues but were stopped midway.
On the other hand the policemen said that they have stopped the nurses as they were going to gherao the CM residence but they have been stopped. Their issues have been taken to higher authorities the policemen said.
On the other hand officials of the RIMS said that as per their work order they were to be hired for a minimum of three months and a maximum of one year and their service is coming to an end on August 10 after which the RIMS management has issued a letter regarding the end of their service.
In the peak of Corona crisis during the second wave a total of 749 healthcare workers including staff nurses, multi purpose workers, lab technicians, sweepers and security guards were hired.
