Ranchi Traffic Police has prepared a new traffic system for Durga Puja in the city. This system will be restored in the capital from October 11 to 15. In this regard, a direction has been issued by Traffic SP Reshma Ramesan on Friday. Entry of private and passenger vehicles will be prohibited for 12 hours and heavy vehicles for 20 hours till the scheduled date.
Private vehicles will not ply in many areas of the city
Private vehicles, autos, e-rickshaws will not operate till the scheduled date from Kachari Chowk to Shaheed Chowk, Main Road, Sujata Chowk, the main areas of the city. Apart from this, all types of commercial and passenger vehicles will be able to reach Dhurva via Minidoor, Dhurva, Birsa Chowk, Doranda, Sujata Chowk, Munda Chowk, Bahubazar, Kantatoli, Dr Rajendra Prasad Chowk. Vehicles coming between Lalpur to Kokar and Kokar to Lapur will travel through Sadar police station.
The entry of heavy vehicles will also be prohibited from October 11 to 15. The time of no entry will be from 8 am every day till 4 in the morning of the second day. Private and passenger vehicles will not be allowed to enter from four in the evening till four in the morning. According to the instructions issued by Ranchi Traffic Police, till the stipulated date, heavy vehicle will be operated from Tilata Chowk to Hazaribagh Road towards Hazaribagh via Law University on Ring Road via Piska turn. Vehicles going from Hazaribagh Road to Latehar, Daltonganj, Garhwa, Itki Road, Simdega, Gumla, Lohardaga Road and Piska Mor will leave Tilta Chowk on Ring Road for their destination. Vehicles coming from Khunti will go through Ring Road via Rampur, Namkum, Tatisilve and go beyond Booty Mor. Vehicles going from Jamshedpur to Hazaribagh will also reach Booti Mor via Namkum, Tatisilve, Khelgaon. Vehicles going from Gumla, Lohardaga, Khunti Road to Jamshedpur Jamshedpur Road to Gumla and Lohardaga Road,The vehicle going to Khunti Road will have to travel through Sithio Ring Road.
