Puducherry, Former Chief Minister V Narayanasamy has alleged that Chief Minister N Rangaswamy has totally surrendered to his alliance partner BJP to safeguard his ‘Chair’.
In an audio clip sent to the media here on Monday night, Mr Narayanasamy said the people of the Union Territory did not get any benefits during the five months N R Congress-BJP regime. The government has not implemented any schemes and all the schemes launched in the previous Congress-DMK government was being implemented now, he claimed.
Mr Rangaswamy is in a position that he could not get funds from the Central government and his government is in trouble, he said. The former Chief Minister predicted that the N R Congress-BJP government will not last long in the UT.
He said the success of the ‘Bharath Bandh’ on Monday clearly shows that the people of this country are against the fam laws. Realising this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi should resign, he added.
Mr Narayanasamy said the Congress party is gearing up itself to face the Local Body Election in the UT to be held in three phases from October 21.
