Monsoon will active once again in Jharkhand after September 2. Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that a low pressure area has remained in South Chhattisgarh. Presently its spread is being seen till Visakhapatnam.
The turf line of monsoon is passing through this low pressure area.In such a situation, its effect can be seen in the state in one to two days. Due to this, better rains will be recorded in some parts of Jharkhand. On Tuesday, the sky of Ranchi is cloudy to moderate. According to the Meteorological Department, the southeast wind is blowing in the state right now. Due to this, light rain will be recorded in almost all the districts of the state including the capital Ranchi for the next two days. Light to moderate rain will continue to occur at isolated places at many times during the day.
Monsoon conditions remained weak over the state during the last 24 hours. Moderate rain was recorded at isolated places in the state. The highest rainfall in the state was recorded at Tenughat in Bokaro with 31 mm of rain. The highest maximum temperature was recorded in Godda at 35.7 degree Celsius. While the lowest minimum temperature was recorded in Chaibasa at 22.8 degree Celsius.
He said that from June 1 to August 31, an average rainfall of 812 mm is expected in the state. But this year it is 779 mm. At the same time, the distribution of this monsoon rain has also been unusual. Due to this, Lohardaga has received up to 54 percent more rain. On the other hand, Garhwa, Chatra, Godda, Gumla, Pakur, Seraikela-Kharsawan, and Simdega have recorded up to 38 percent less rainfall.
