Government’s Positive Outlook Towards Industries and Industrialists

Ranchi EW Correspondent : Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the “Srijan” Startup Conclave organized by the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries at the Aryabhatta Auditorium in Ranchi University campus as the chief guest. On this occasion, he stated that the government has a positive outlook towards all industries and new ones coming to the state. The government is committed to attracting more investments and creating maximum employment opportunities. The government will fully support industries and industrialists.

The Chief Minister addressed the Jharkhand Chamber, stating that many industries in the state have been operating for years, with generations of entrepreneurs conducting business here. These entrepreneurs have witnessed the changing landscape of Jharkhand and are well aware of its economic, social, and geographical conditions. They understand the state better than anyone else, and the government aims to achieve comprehensive development of the state in collaboration with them. The Chief Minister Hemant Soren mentioned that the state government has formulated a startup policy. However, the state has not progressed as much as it should in promoting startups. The government will soon take concrete steps to strengthen and promote startups. With the vision of connecting youth to employment through startups and providing jobs to others, the government will move forward. The Chief Minister highlighted that after independence, the policymakers of the country recognized the importance of the state. As a result, several major industries were established here. Tata and Birla, among other industrial groups, set up their industries. Coal India’s most significant activities are conducted in this state. The first fertilizer industry in the country, the mining institute, and the renowned Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited (HEC) were also established in Jharkhand. However, over time, circumstances led to the closure of many industries. Those that were supposed to expand shrank, resulting in unemployment. The government now aims to lay such a strong foundation for industries that future generations can benefit from them. The government will positively consider and implement any suggestions from the Jharkhand Chamber. State MP Mahua Maji, MLA Rameshwar Oraon, former state MP Mahesh Poddar, Chief Minister’s Additional Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, IT and e-Governance Secretary Vipra Bhal, President of the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kishor Mintri, former President Vinay Agrawal, Vice President Aditya Malhotra, Secretary Paresh Gatani, and other members were present at the event.
