Chaibasa EW News: Under the chairmanship of the District Election Officer and
Deputy Commissioner, a meeting along with an inspection for the Lok
Sabha General Elections 2024 was conducted today at the auditorium of
Kolhan University, P-2, for the dispatch of polling material. All
Sector Magistrates and Sector Police Officers were present.
During the training, detailed information was provided about the
processes from the dispatch center to the polling center on the day of
voting and post-voting procedures. The duties and responsibilities
were explained, and the voting officials’ skills were tested. The
voting officials were also informed that they have a good
understanding of operating EVMs, VVPATs, and conducting the entire
voting process, including sorting and packing all documents, during
the training.
At the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said, “Through the training
program, you all have been acquainted with all the processes of the
election work. It is hoped that you all will perform your duties
diligently and ensure error-free election work.” He directed all
voting officials to reach the Tata College Dispatch Center at 6:00 AM
sharp so that they could be dispatched to their clusters and polling
centers on time. He mentioned that extensive security arrangements
have been made for the administration to ensure the safety of
dispatching from the dispatch center to clusters and polling centers.
He urged everyone to work fearlessly and fulfill their duties
responsibly. The voting officials traveling by rail were instructed by
the District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner to check their
belongings and those of their colleagues after boarding the train and
ensure regular disembarking at stations.
The Deputy Development Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Meena, and
Subdivisional Officer, Podahat-Chakradharpur, Sushri Reena Hansda,
along with others, were present at the occasion.
