Pune, The Criminal Investigation Department on Saturday arrested Adv Sagar Marutu alias Rajabhau Suryavanshi, who was wanted in connection of near dozen crimes, from Shukrawar Peth area of the city.
Suryavanshi, against whom there were more than 11 serious crimes registered at different police stations in the limits of city and district, was at large from several months, police said.
The District and Sessions Court had also declared him ‘absconder’.
Among serious cases, the cheating cases pertaining to land were also registered against him at many places in Pune.
A police team was looking for Suryavanshi since long and finally, he was arrested today when he had come to Renuka temple in Shukrawar Peth area of the city, sources added.
