Srinagar, Two policemen were injured in a terrorist attack in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials sources said.
According to the sources, the attack took place at Manzgam area of Damhal Hanjipora, Kulgam when a police party was moving in the area.
“Both the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital,” they said.
The area has been cordoned-off and a manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
Police has yet not issued any statement on the attack.
The attack took place at a time when terrorist have stepped up attacks on the civilians. Seven civilians, including four members from the minority community, have been killed in various attacks in the past one week.
