Palamu, EW News: The purpose of organizing the empowerment camp is to empower people. These words were spoken by Neeraj Kumar Shrivastav, the Principal District and Session Judge of Palamu. He was speaking at a one-day legal empowerment camp held in the premises of the district headquarters on Sunday. PDJ inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp in the presence of the beneficiaries. Through the camp, people become empowered. He said that today is an extremely happy and auspicious day, we celebrate this day as Constitution Day. He said that with the implementation of the Constitution in the country, a impartial justice system was found, and citizens got the freedom of fundamental rights and responsibilities. On this occasion, Martand Pratap Mishra, the Principal District and Session Judge of the Family Court, said that today the most empowered should be women and children. He said that awareness can bring about change in society. He said that through legal awareness, poverty can be eradicated. Arpit Shrivastav, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, said that the law has now become easily accessible. Information about it is being made available to the general public. Free legal assistance is being provided to the victims. On the occasion, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sujit Kumar said that in all the work of Dalsa, the police administration is with them. He said that the aim of Dalsa is to reach the last person in society and provide easy justice. He said that the police administration is with the people in every joy and sorrow. Amarjeet Singh Malhotra, Sub-Divisional Officer of the district, said that people have got a chance to learn and understand a lot from the awareness camp. The camp will prove to be a milestone for the people here. He said that the more aware we are, the more society will progress. On this occasion, Deputy Chief of Legal Aid Defense Council Santosh Kumar Pandey said that the sole aim behind organizing the empowerment camp is to make people benefit from government schemes and raise awareness about the law. Today, knowledge of the law is essential for everyone. He said that the Indian Constitution provides us with fundamental rights along with fundamental duties. He said that Palamu’s two Lal Yaduvanshi Sahay and Amiya Kumar Ghosh were members of the Constituent Assembly. On this occasion, the program was conducted by Judicial Magistrate Miss Ruby. On this occasion, under the Jharkhand Victim Compensation Act from the District Legal Services Authority, PDJ Neeraj Kumar Shrivastav distributed compensation amounts among the victim families.
