In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that through the Chief Minister’s Scholarship Scheme, students of general categories are given different rates of scholarship in different months. In coordination with the welfare officer, the officers were asked to cover such general category children.

Apart from this, Deputy Commissioner Shri Ranjan, taking information about the books provided by the Education Department to the children living in remote areas of the district under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, asked all the officers to regularly visit the field and check the books provided to the children. instructed.

In the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner inquired about the current status of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential School. During this, he took updated information about gym, Wi-Fi facility, boundary wall, vending machine, CCTV in the residential school. During this, he told the concerned warden to start the process for admission in the new session.
