Sisodia conducted inspection, inquired about new classrooms being constructed in Delhi Government Schools

New Delhi:  Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia inspected newly built Delhi Government Schools on Monday and inquired about their construction work. He visited 4 Delhi Government Schools namely SKV Kondli, GGSS Kalyanpuri, Government Co-ed School at IP Extension and Government Co-ed Senior Secondary School in Preet Vihar, and inquired about the construction of classrooms and academic blocks.

After duly inspecting all the schools, Sisodia relayed important guidelines to officials in-charge and directed officials to ensure that classrooms are equipped with state of the art facilities. He added that schools and classrooms should be designed keeping in mind the psyche of children. We should design schools in a way that they are interactive, so that when students return to the schools and look at their colourful classes, they are motivated to learn and engage.

Sisodia said, “Keeping in mind the security and safety of children, we are not calling students back to school anytime soon. We are, however, ensuring that the construction work for new and improved classrooms is done at a fast pace so when children do end up returning back to school, they are welcomed with new and colourful classrooms with the best facilities.”
