Now schools from class I to VIII will also be opened for the students in the state. Its preparation has been started. Education Secretary Rajesh Sharma has directed all the DEOs to make preparations for this in schools. However, the final decision will be taken by the Disaster Management Department.
The Education Secretary has instructed to complete the cleanliness, sanitization etc. of the schools by holding a virtual meeting with the DEO on Tuesday. He expressed concern over the low attendance of students in class IX to XII. For this, Block Resource Service and Cluster Resource Service have been asked to be engaged.
National Achievement Survey will be held in Jharkhand on November 12. In this, students of 3rd, 5th and 7th class of 3509 schools will be able to participate. In 2017 the National Achievement Survey was conducted by NCERT but this year it will be conducted through CBSE. On the basis of this, the standards of the state are decided. In the last survey, Jharkhand was ranked eighth in the country.
