Out of 51 Lok Sabha seats declared, only Saket Mishra from Shravasti, Ritesh Pandey from Ambedkar Nagar, Kripashankar Singh from Jaunpur, and Om Prakash from Nagina are new faces

Lucknow : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) announced its candidates for 195 Lok Sabha seats on Saturday, with 51 candidates hailing from Uttar Pradesh. According to the list released by the party’s central headquarters, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will contest from Varanasi, while Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will contest from Lucknow. Other notable candidates include Lallu Singh from Ayodhya and Hema Malini from Mathura. The BJP has shown confidence in familiar faces in Uttar Pradesh.
Out of Uttar Pradesh’s 51 Lok Sabha seats, only four constituencies have seen the introduction of new names. Among them, Saket Mishra will contest from Shravasti, Ritesh Pandey from Ambedkar Nagar (who joined BJP from BSP), Kripashankar Singh from Jaunpur, and Om Prakash from Nagina.
Similarly, Pradeep Kumar will contest from Kairana, Sanjeev Kumar Balian from Muzaffarnagar, Om Kumar from Nagina Surakshit, Ghanshyam Lodhi from Rampur, Parmeshwar Lal Saini from Sambhal, Kanwar Singh Tanwar from Amroha, Dr. Mahesh Sharma from Gautam Buddh Nagar, Dr. Bhola Singh from Bulandshahr, Satyapal Singh Baghel from Agra, Rajkumar Chahar from Fatehpur Sikri, Rajveer Singh Raju from Etah, Dharmendra Kashyap from Kheri, Ajay Mishra Teni from Khiri, Rekha Verma from Sitapur, Jay Prakash Rawat from Hardoi Surakshit, Ashok Kumar Rawat from Mishrikh, Sakshi Maharaj from Unnao, Jagdambika Pal from Dumariaganj, Harish Dwivedi from Basti, Praveen Nishad from Sant Kabir Nagar, Pankaj Chaudhary from Maharajganj, Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur, Vijay Kumar Dubey from Kushinagar, Nilam Sonkar from Lal Ganj Surakshit, Dinesh Lal Yadav from Azamgarh, and Ravindra Kushwaha from Chandauli.
Additionally, Kirti Vardhan Singh will contest from Gonda, Jagdambika Pal from Dumariaganj, Harish Dwivedi from Basti, Praveen Nishad from Sant Kabir Nagar, Pankaj Chaudhary from Maharajganj, Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur, Vijay Kumar Dubey from Kushinagar, Nilam Sonkar from Lal Ganj Surakshit, Dinesh Lal Yadav from Azamgarh, and Ravindra Kushwaha from Salempur.
Notably, the fate of BJP’s controversial leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh hangs in balance as first list did not include his name. He is a six-time Member of Parliament, five times from BJP and one time from Samajwadi Party. Presently he is serving as Member of Parliament from Kaiserganj.
