SANJAY PANDEY Palamu: A camp was organized in the Hurdumud village of Dulsulma Panchayat under the Prime Minister Janman program. The event saw the presence of numerous officials including Palamu MP Vishnu Dayal Ram, Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan, Deputy Development Commissioner Ravi Anand, Municipal Commissioner Javed Husain, among others. The initiative was inaugurated by the Palamu MP and other officials lighting a lamp.
Speaking at the occasion, MP Shri Ram emphasized the program’s aim to uplift the marginalized groups, especially the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). He stressed the need to focus on these groups who are at the bottom of the societal ladder, facing significant challenges. He assured that any lack of schemes would be addressed promptly, with coordinated efforts across departments.
Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan highlighted the primary objective of the PM Janman Yojana, which is to fully empower the PVTG community. He mentioned that similar camps are being set up across other locations where PVTGs reside. Through these camps, awareness about various government schemes is being raised, and priority is given to ensuring that marginalized tribal communities obtain essential documents and benefits.
The camp featured various counters, including Aadhar registration, caste certification, Jan Dhan bank account enrollment, Ayushman cards, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and forest land entitlements, among others.
