Nagaland records 79 new COVID positive cases

Kohima, The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland yesterday increased to 79 new cases, which increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases rose to 29, 274 and with two more deaths, the toll rose to 607.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 79 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from five districts of Nagaland with 50 cases in Dimapur, 15 cases in Mokokchung, 11 in Kohima, one in Longleng, one in Peren and one in Wokha, pushing the total caseload to 29,274.

On the recovery of COVID-19 patients in the State, the recovery patients saw a total of 137 recoveries of patients, with 48 from Dimapur, 28 from Kohima, 18 from Wokha, 12 from Mokokchung, 11 from Tuensang and one in Mon, which has totalled the recoveries rose to 26,738 at the rate of 91.33%. 

Nagaland now has 1,088 active cases, out of the 854 patients are asymptotic, 183 are with mild symptom, 24 are moderate with oxygen, 13 are severe with oxygen, 10 are critical in ICU without ventilator and four are in ICU with ventilator. With the deaths of two more patients in Kohima took the death toll to 607.
