Nagaland records 67 new COVID positive cases

Kohima, The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland decreased to 67 new cases, which increased the total number of COVID -19 cases with this total of 27, 653 patients so far as of yesterday.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 67 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from all nine districts of Nagaland with 25 cases in Dimapur, 14 cases in Kohima, 10 in Mokokchung, five in Phek, five in Tuensang, four in Mon, three in Wokha and one in Longleng, taking the total increased caseload to 27653.

The State also reported 113 recoveries, with 38 from Kohima, 30 from Mokokchung, 23 from Dimapur, 17 from Longleng and five from Tuensang, taking the total recovery to 25,023. The total active cases are 1299, with 1053 asymptotic, 176 mild, 37 moderate on oxygen, 21 severe on oxygen, seven in ICU without ventilation and five in ICU with ventilation, where out of 1299, 102 are admitted in the COVID hospitals and 1,197 are under home isolation.

In the COVID related deaths, there were four deaths are reported, three patients in Mokokchung and one in Dimapur succumbed to their infections, with this the death toll to 556, the bulletin said.
