Ranchi, The low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal is causing rainfall across the state.
The local weather station has predicted that apart from the state capital of Ranchi many other districts will also receive rainfall over the next few days during which lightning and thunderstorms will also take place.
The weather department has said that till September 16 across the state rainfall will take place as the low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal is moving forward towards the north-west direction.
The districts of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Saraikela and Simdega are also predicted to receive heavy rainfall. Over the last 24 hours, Jamshedpur has received a maximum rainfall of 38 mm while Godda was the hottest at 35.9 degrees while Chaibasa was the coolest at 21.4 degrees.
