Ministers and MPs in Canada condemn the Khalistanis

–No place for hatred and threats: LeBlanc

–MP Arya asked to be cautious

In view of the increasing anti Indian activities of gangster turned Khalistanis terrorists in Canada, an atmosphere of panic and insecurity is prevailing there. The Canadian Ministers and MPs have assured the Hindu community that there is no need to get frightened from anyone in Canada. Canada’s Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc has condemned Khalistani leaders and told them sternly to desist from any act of violence. He said that he wants to tell those who are asking the Hindu community to leave the country that hatred and intimidation have no place in Canada. At the same time, Canadian Defense Minister Harjit Singh Sajjan also said that it is not justified to threaten Hindus to leave Canadian soil.

Every community living in Canada will be protected. Canadian MP Chandra Arya says, “Few days back Khalistan movement leader in Canada and the president of Sikhs for Justice which organizes the so-called referendum, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun attacked Hindu-Canadians asking us to leave Canada and go back to India. I have heard from many Hindu-Canadians who are fearful after this targeted attack. I urge Hindu-Canadians to stay calm but vigilant…The Khalistan movement leader is trying to provoke the Hindu-Canadians to react and divide the Hindu and Sikh communities in Canada. Let me be clear. Vast majority of our Canadian Sikh brothers and sisters do not support Khalistan movement. Most Sikh Canadians may not publicly condemn the Khalistan movement for several reasons but they are deeply connected to the Hindu-Canadian community…I can’t understand how glorification of terrorism or a hate crime targeting a religious group is allowed in the name of freedom of speech and expression…”
