Kangana Ranaut is busy shooting in Budapest for her action entertainer ‘Dhaakad’ and the actress has given a glimpse of her action packed avatar. On Tuesday, she penned a post about her incredible transformation from essaying an actress in ‘Thalaivi’ to throwing kicks and punches in ‘Dhaakad’. She has worked hard on her physique and beautifully adapted to her onscreen avatar. Kangana also tagged and praised the costume designer from her two films Neeta Lulla and Sheetal Sharma for Thalaivi and Dhaakad respectively. She had captioned the post, “Journey like no other …”
For ‘Thalaivi’, Kangana will essay the role of actress turned politician J Jayalalithaa. Directed by AL Vijay, ‘Thalaivi’ was scheduled to hit the screens in April and but was postponed due to the pandemic. This movie features Arvind Swami and Bhagyashree in pivotal roles and will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. While ‘Dhaakad’ is an actioner directed by Razneesh Ghai and stars Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta and Saswata Chatterjee. ” Before the team of ‘Dhaakad’ headed to Budapest, the film was shot in Pune and Bhopal.
Apart from these two movies, Kangana Ranaut will be seen essaying the role of an air force officer in ‘Tejas’. She will also don the director’s hat for ‘Emergency’, wherein she plays the role of late Indira Gandhi. Kangana has also announced her plans to direct ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda’.
