Jharkhand’s economy is back on track

The economy of Jharkhand is getting back on track before the fear of the third wave of Corona. The August GST collection figures were released on Wednesday.

According to this, the Center has collected GST of 1,12,020 crore in August, which is 30% more than in August last year. Jharkhand’s share in this is 2166 crores. This is an increase of 45% from August 2020. Despite the small population of Jharkhand, this increase is the highest in comparison to the big states.

Jharkhand ranks first in the state-wise growth of GST, excluding Union Territories and North-Eastern states. Because their population is very less.

Jharkhand has the highest increase in GST as compared to the larger states except Lakshadweep, Ladakh, Manipur, Andaman and Sikkim.
