Principal Correspondent: Addressing the reporters, SDPO K Vijay Shankar, working president of the Football Organizing Committee, said that the football match for Palamu sports lovers was to be organized two-three months in advance but was postponed due to the Corona period. Now again the interstate football tournament is going to be held in Medininagar city in the memory of the brave martyrs by the Football Organizing Committee and will be organized with the effort of Palamu Police Mains Association. Organizing Committee working president K Vijay Shankar said that in the memory of the brave martyrs, an inter-state football tournament will be organized from December 15 to December 21 at Police Stadium Medininagar. Delhi, Kolkata, Danapur Army Patna, Best Ghato Bokaro, Ranchi, Mughalsarai Uttar Pradesh, Macho City Pundag Ranchi, Kolhan Tiger Jamshedpur, Palamu Police and other teams will participate in this competition. There will also be an exhibition match between Kolkata women’s team and Varanasi women’s team which will be the center of attraction for the people.
The preparation for the match has been started by the organizing committee. Efforts have been started to make the match successful in a smooth, orderly and peaceful manner. Organizing Committee and Palamu Police Men’s Association will be ready to provide players accommodation, food security, transportation and other facilities. Arrangements will also be made for sports lovers to sit and enjoy the match, so that they will not face any kind of difficulties.
