Dumka; Two doses of corona vaccine were administered to Taramuni Devi of Aalubada village of Chotiranbahiar Panchayat at the Vaccination Camp at Vikas Bhawan, Ramgarh in Dumka district of Jharkhand. Due to this her condition started deteriorating. After that she was admitted to the hospital. The medical in-charge of CHC Ramgarh said that the woman has been admitted to the hospital. The woman is out of danger. Action will be taken on ANM after investigation.
When Taramuni came to take the second dose of the vaccine, the ANM injected her not once, but twice, due to which the woman’s health deteriorated. She was admitted to the hospital. It is being told that on Tuesday, when the woman took the needle for the first time, she started blinking after sitting on the chair. In the meantime, the ANM applied the needle again without asking the woman. After which the woman fainted. Information was given when the condition worsened. After this, the health workers admitted the woman to CHC Ramgarh by ambulance.
Her brother-in-law Ganesh Mirdha, who came with the woman, told that the condition worsened due to negligence by the ANM giving the vaccine twice. He has demanded investigation and action from the concerned officer against the culprits. In this case, the medical in-charge of CHC Ramgarh, Sisil Prabha Hembram, told that the incident has been reported. The woman has been admitted to the hospital. The woman is out of danger. He also told that action will be taken on ANM after the investigation.
