Chaibasa EW News: A team formed by the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi, to observe the activities under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Program in West Singhbhum district, arrived in Chaibasa. The team first met with Deputy Commissioner Mr. Kuldeep Chaudhary at the Conference Hall of the Collectorate premises. Subsequently, under the leadership of Ms. Divya Vashishth, the team proceeded to the Registration Office in Chaibasa for the Impact Assessment Study of land record digitization activities under the district.
This study team will assess the facilities acquired after the transition of land records from offline to online in the district from February 26 to February 28, 2024. On the first day, information regarding online application and its implementation process was obtained at the Registration Office in Chaibasa. Following the Registration Office visit, the survey team proceeded to the Block Office in Chaibasa to gather information about the ongoing activities there. Approximately 30 beneficiaries from Tonto and Tekasai villages of the Sadar block were also consulted regarding land digitization during the team’s visit to the Block Office.
During this survey, various officials were present including the Land Improvement Sub-Coordinator, Chaibasa, Ms. Sandhya Mundu, Sadar Chaibasa Block Officer Mr. Budhay Saru, Assistant Director, Chaibasa Mr. Vikas Soren, among others.
