HP: Prof Lalit Awasthy to continue as the Director of NIT, Hamirpur

Hamirpur (HP), The Union Education Ministry has allowed Prof Lalit Awasthy to continue as the Director of the NIT, Hamirpur, it was reported.

He was appointed to this post following the termination of the services of the former Director, Prof Vinod Yadava about one year ago.

Prof Awasthy was holding this post in addition to his post as the Director of NIT, Jalandhar.

Since his term art Jalandhar ended on Saturday, he has been directed to continue at Hamirpur

Meanwhile, the Union Education Ministry has also appointed nine more Directors of NIT’s across the country with immediate effect.
