Hyderabad, Even as the people in parts of Hyderabad are yet to get over the untold misery caused by heavy downpour on Friday evening, the weather office has predicted more rains from Saturday afternoon.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) authorities have advised people to be alert and not to step out of their homes unless it was essential. The GHMC also set up a control room to extend assistance.
The three hours downpour which started at 1900 hours on Friday inundated many residential colonies forcing the people to remain indoors, while the motorists had a tough time as the roads were flooded.
The weather office said that rains are likely during the next three days under the influence of the northeasterly winds.
