He told that the SP got information that cyber fraud is being carried out in Karaon, Madhupur, Mohanpur, Nagar police station and Mohanpur police station area. As soon as the information was received, the team arrested Jaggadih village of Karaon police station area, Lakhnuwa and Mahuvadabar village of Madhupur, Bank village of Mohanpur and Barmasiya village of Nagar police station area on the basis of location.
Headquarters DSP said that they used to make people a victim of fraud by offering rewards and cash back on electronic apps. Cheating various customers in the name of KYC update with fake mobile numbers. Police recovered 27 mobiles, 97 SIMs, 05 ATMs, 05 passbooks, 04 check books, one bike and seven thousand rupees in cash from the accused. Police said that one of the arrested accused Sushil Mandal is a named accused in Jamtara Cyber Police Case 46/2020 and Karmatand Police Station Case No. 213/2017. In both the cases, Sushil is charge sheeted. At the same time, accused Kundan Kumar is also a named accused in cyber police station case number 33/2020 and chargesheet is also filed on this. The criminal history of other accused arrested is being probed. Among the arrested accused are Siraj Ansari, Sarfaraz Ansari, Akhlaq Hussain, Barjahan Ansari, Jameel Ansari, Sushil Mandal, Sunil Kumar Das, Lalu Das, Uday Shankar Das, Shekhar Kumar Das, Anadi Das, Manohar Das, Ratan Das, Ramcharan Das, Manoj Kumar Das, Pankaj Kumar, Kundan Kumar, Amit Kumar, Prince Kumar Subhash Das, Deepak Das, and Vinod Das are included.
