New Delhi, EW Correspondent: The Delhi BJP Temple Wing organized the Shri Ram Temple Celebration Rally, flagged off by the State BJP President, Shri Veerendra Sachdeva, who started the rally from the party office at 14, Pant Marg, towards iconic landmarks such as Connaught Place, Delhi Gate, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Bus Stand, Tees Hazari, Jhandewalan, and Mandir Marg, before returning to the party office. The rally witnessed the participation of thousands of saints, temple priests, and party workers.
The Central Minister, Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, Member of Parliament, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Temple Wing President Shri Karnail Singh, and other BJP officials, including Shri Yogi Chander, Shri Satish Garg, Smt. Lata Gupta, Shri Praveen Shankar Kapoor, Shri Harish Khurana, Shri Imprit Singh, Shri Vikram Mittal, Shri Brijesh Rai, joined the event.
Delhi BJP President Shri Veerendra Sachdeva stated that the year 2024 is a golden period for India, and it can be considered as the beginning of Ram Rajya. This historic event has been made possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, for which the country has eagerly awaited, and the BJP had pledged. He emphasized that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s sacred work will be remembered for eternity, and the nation will preserve his glory forever.
Shri Sachdeva mentioned that this is not just a bike rally but the enthusiasm of all Ram devotees who have been eagerly waiting for the auspicious day of Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram. Lord Ram belongs to everyone, and everyone should be part of this holy event. He also stated that after 14 years, when Lord Shri Ram completed his exile and returned to Ayodhya, the entire city was decorated, and this time, after five hundred years, as Lord Ram returns to Ayodhya, it will be a celebration similar to Diwali.
Central Minister Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi said that after a wait of five hundred years, the auspicious day has come for the followers of Sanatan Dharma. She urged everyone to celebrate this day in a way that enhances its grandeur throughout history.
MP Dr. Harsh Vardhan stated that this bike rally is a way for Ram devotees to celebrate the festival of Pran Pratishtha. He encouraged everyone to decorate their homes and nearby temples with flowers, light lamps with the name of Ram, create rangoli, and celebrate this historic moment as a festival. He mentioned that there is a unique enthusiasm within the people of Delhi and across the country because Lord Shri Ram is an ideal for all humanity.
Delhi BJP Temple Wing Coordinator Shri Karnail Singh said that the message of the program scheduled for January 22, the holy festival of Pran Pratishtha, should reach every home in Delhi. To achieve this goal, today, we organized a bike rally with thousands of participants who witnessed this historic moment.
Shri Karnail Singh further stated that after a wait of five hundred years, the followers of Sanatan Dharma have finally seen the end of their anticipation. He described the route of the bike rally, which started from the party office and passed through Delhi Gate, Red Fort, Kashmiri Gate, Paharganj, and Gol Chakkar, ending at the party office.
The event concluded with patriotic fervor and a sense of celebration as thousands of participants enthusiastically took part in the Shri Ram Temple Celebration Rally across the city.
