Dadri:  Uttar Pradesh’s ambitious stride towards a $1 trillion economy gains momentum as the Yogi Adityanath government embarks on a transformative journey to establish a state-of-the-art multi-modal logistics hub (MMLH) in Dadri, Greater Noida. With an investment outlay of Rs 7,064 crore, this monumental project spans across 823 acres, positioning Dadri as a pivotal center for freight logistics in India.

The core development of the MMLH will encompass 455 acres, dedicated to a comprehensive infrastructure that includes commercial and administrative facilities spread over 17.5 acres. The project also earmarks 350 acres for the rail yard and associated ventures, strategically designed to optimize logistics efficiency and enhance trade connectivity.

Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Dadri MMLH is poised to redefine logistics operations, serving as a critical node along both the eastern and western dedicated freight corridors of the nation. This strategic location will facilitate seamless transportation of goods, integrating essential services such as container handling, warehousing, cold storage, and value-added packing.

“The Dadri multi-modal logistics hub is not merely an infrastructure project; it is a gateway to accelerating economic growth and bolstering industrial activities,” remarked a government spokesperson. This hub, operating akin to a dry port, promises rapid transit of commodities and raw materials across the region, stimulating trade and commerce on a grand scale.

The project, developed under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model, is overseen by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority in alignment with guidelines from the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT). The Master Detailed Project Report (DPR) crafted by the authority outlines strategic initiatives including the construction of approach tracks and a Rail Over Rail (ROR) bridge extending from New Dadri station to the MMLH boundary.

Simultaneously, the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) has greenlit the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for railway tracks and terminal stations within the MMLH premises. Crucial steps such as land acquisition, signaling processes, and the establishment of trunk infrastructure including roads, canals, bridges, and utility services are progressing swiftly across various phases of implementation.

“The Dadri MMLH represents a paradigm shift in logistics infrastructure, ensuring robust rail connectivity, efficient cargo handling, and world-class amenities,” affirmed officials overseeing the project’s execution. This initiative underscores Uttar Pradesh’s commitment to fostering industrial growth and positioning the state as a leader in logistics and commerce.

As development strides forward, the MMLH in Dadri is poised to emerge not just as a logistical powerhouse but as a beacon of economic resilience and industrial dynamism, symbolizing Uttar Pradesh’s progressive vision under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s stewardship. The transformative impact of this project is set to resonate across the nation, heralding a new era in freight logistics and economic expansion.
